Earlier in this series, we saw the Dropbox add-in for Gmail and now we’ll take a look at how to launch your Google Drive files directly from within Microsoft Office. With the Google Drive plug-in, people using Office for Windows can open their Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents stored in Drive, then save any changes back to Drive once they’re done; all without ever needing to download, edit or reupload the files stored in Google Drive.
This plug-in is also great for saving newly created Office document to Drive, making them easy to share with your clients and colleagues.
